We are always greeted by name and with a smile by everyone in the branch! It never feels like a generic bank experience in the branch. We asked for a commercial loan and it was the fastest loan processing we have ever had! They are also one of the only banks who DO NOT HAVE A prepay penalty! We said goodbye to 40 years of Wells Fargo after they had the gall to deny a 40%LTV loan on our house that has been free and clear since we bought it. By the way, we didn't get a penny out, we paid off a loan on our other property! So glad we are with Farmer's and Merchants Bank!!!

I opened an account here with less than $2500 for my small business. I have always been treated extremely well with every person in the branch anxious to help even though I am a small fry. I have even been visited at my business location by the manager Fessel (hope I am spelling his name correctly). This is a warm and friendly bank.
