  So excited to have Farmers Bank in Helena. The folks are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They were a dream to work with while I built my new home and again with a business loan.

  I hadn't banked with Farmer's Bank or worked with them until someone recommended them for my mortgage. After dealing with several lenders in town and a broker who at first seemed like a good fit and then offended me, I was getting discouraged since one day the basis points shifted slightly and suddenly everyone got pushy, flaky, or unresponsive on me since I was shopping around for the best rates. I talked with Kara Lyng and ended up applying for a mortgage with her and locking her in all on the same day. She was the best and, to rip off a county song in a humorous way, "God Blessed the Broken Road" that led me to her, all those frustrations with the other lenders and broker were worth it to get Kara Lyng!! She was fun to work with, answered my questions, and helped me with the process, and was just a wonderful person to go through a stressful process with! I'm so glad I found her and highly recommend using her if you end up in the market for a mortgage. My interactions with staff during my visits were also pleasant, and they have the coolest looking steampunk style decorations in the building. It also is cool since the building contains a coffee shop and a craft house. So all in all, it was a win-win for me!
