      Sometimes have trouble getting someone on the phone, and customer service is not superb, much prefer the Sullivan branch.

      My 80+ year old parents who had done business with this bank for almost 20 years moved back to St. Louis. The same day my mother closed the account, a check had come through in the amount of $50. First Community not only put these seniors into collection, but, by the time that happened (even though the bank had their phone number and didn't bother to contact them) they had charged these loyal customers $317.00 in fines! Now, that's a "community" bank for you! I wouldn't recommend them if they were the ONLY bank in town.
