  I received a check from someone that was written on this bank. I have my own bank but did not want to deposit it in my own account for fear of it bouncing and me being responsible for the fees. I had to wait 15 minutes for a teller, there were only two other customers in the bank...I had my id ready to give to the teller, the teller told me it would be a 1% fee or $5.00 for cashing the check, well one percent of $300.00 is $3.00 yet he charged me $5. he said which ever was the the greater amount.! He took my drivers license and before he gave me my $ he asked for my phone # and Social security # I asked why he needed this as he still had my drivers licence, he told me in case he needed to contact me because he gave me the wrong amount. WTH?? I told him I suspected he could count as he worked in a bank, and assured him I would recount it in front of him before leaving the bank. What a joke this bank is..no other bank in Btown does this. I still do not know why he needed my social security # . So my advise, goto a real bank!
