      I had the pleasure of working w/Nicole Vargas re: the purchase of my NOW two bedroom Condo. Nicole was NOT ONLY Professional and always responsive but thoughtful! This goes a LONG way when you are going thru the process of credit reports and more credit reports. Lets face it, Its painful! But when Nicole called, it didn’t feel that way. She had a way of calming the waters. Thank you Nicole. Truly! I am from Peekskill, NY!! You are a rock star

      Michael Vasallo at Financial Equities, gives big promises in the loan application process, however once the process starts and time comes to lock rate and closing arrives, he would be not reachable via phone/email. He will provide a high interest rate and obligate to buy down discount points. Will not entertain market fluctuation of change 0.25%, previously promised. Mandates to sign back dated document at closing or cannot close. There is no alternate manager or contact at Financial Equities who can help. No one at closing department or any departments at Financial Equities will respond, unless they need documents from the applicant. In any case the loan will be sold to a large bank or financial institution before 1st loan payment. Horrible experience, not recommended. Waste of Time and efforts, very stressful.

      One of the worst consumer experiences I’ve ever had. I trusted Tom Marino who was aware that this was my first time purchasing a home. Tom initially was very helpful but it was only so he could take advantage of me. Once I sign my mortgage commitment that’s when everything changed and when I went to try and lock in my loan he stalled and ignored me for 12 days before locking me in at a much higher rate. Also forced me to pay $2000 commitment fee which apparently was unheard of. I did get the money back at closing. STAY AWAY!!!!
