We have found that payday lenders typically offer high Annual Percentage Rates (“APRs”) and short repayment terms. According to the Consumer Federation of America, a non-profit consumer advocacy group, payday loans carry an average APR of 400 percent[1]. The APR offered in this case was much less than the average APR offered through payday lending.
