      This bank used to be the Bank of Wedowee. They were bought out by First Alabama. Initially there was a period of time certain things did not work, the ATM caused problems. I guess it's been a year or so since the change over and I can't be more satisfied with the service. All my accounts are tied together online and I can check the balance or transfer funds from savings to checking or from checking to checking with the utmost of ease. This is banking with no lines, and no hassell. I love it. I had been a customer of Bank of Wedowee for at least 20 years so the change over was with much trepidation. It was unfounded. First Bank of Alabama has done an excellent job and I would recommend them to anyone.
