      I moved to New Bern from Florida and walked into the First Citizens Bank without any introduction. I chose First Citizens because it had been top rated by Forbes Magazine. Having banked my professional life at giant Citibank I was pleasantly surprised at the warm welcome I received. From opening checking accounts to arranging home financing, the process could not have been more efficient. Everyone I dealt with could not have been friendlier. Learning that I was an avid boater, my mortgage specialist even went to the trouble to introduce me to the regional vice president who shares my love of the water and things that float on it.
