      I recieved a call from "FAIRSCLLCTNSVCS" saying they were "First Collection Services" trying to get me to pay a "final bill from Center Point Energy". I told them I had already paid, and they said I hadn't. I told them I'd call back, and proceeded to call Center Point, who said my account had in fact NOT been sent to collections. When I called "FAIRSCLLCTNSVCS" or "First Collection Services" back they said they'd look into my account if I gave them my social security number and birthdate. I told them it felt like they were trying to scam me and that I was going to report them to the Attorney General. They hung up on me after that. BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT THIS COMPANY--SEEMS LIKE SCAMMERS!

      It's pretty sad you have to complain to the CFPB to even get a hold of these degenerates. It only takes a phone call to verify the validity of a debt. They seem to have a practice of actively avoiding the phone.
