  Unethical Business. I was going to opt out of leaving a review for Kara, but since she charged us $600 for an appraisal that we didn’t want I figure the least I can do is warn others. This business lacks the personal connection to its customers, after all lenders are working for US, not the opposite. Kara, our lender communicated as minimal as possible with us regarding our loan. That resulted in her telling us over and over that we wouldn’t make our loan requirements for the Rural Development loan and then once we told her that we decided we were going to move forward with another lender all of a sudden she would fight for us and claimed that she was able to get the same end result that our new Lender was working hard for us to get. On top of that when we called her letting her know that we would be changing lenders, she was UNBELIEVABLY rude. My husband was talking to her and I was listening, it was SO HARD to bite my tongue and question her future communications with the people who use her as a lender. She is extremely selfish, said “we have a lot of time invested into your guys loan” which may have been true but she went off on her own to get us whatever loan she would “grace” us with. We were very nice with her during this phone call, we just said we think we will be moving forward with a different lender. Any logical and ethical lender would have said “ok I understand, I wish you the best in getting what you need from a lender.” Regardless of the time invested. Seriously unbelievable. We chose this lender because Agile preferred them and offered 1,000 off, but in the end you will be better off getting a better suitable loan elsewhere. Where the lender will actually fight for what you want as a homebuyer.
