  Great local bank for my mom. Friendly staff that knows my mom on a personal level. Been servicing her for over 25 years or more.

  Very poor customer service. Called on behalf of my father. My mother passed away 2 days before her social security check was deposited and the bank sent it back. Anyone who knows the SS, their benefits are paid 1 month behind. She lived 15 days of the month. The government says as long as she was alive on the 3rd, she gets her money. The lady at the bank argued with me that SS notified them of my mother’s passing and that’s why they sent the check back. Not sure why the 2 different people with SS told me before calling the bank that they hadn’t gotten notification but the bank was notified by the government. I lost my mom 2 days ago and the lady at the bank is arguing with me about this. She raised her voice at me when I was trying to explain my side. I understand if there is nothing that can be done, but arguing with a grieving family is NOT the way to handle things. She even argued with my father. I was appalled that she would argue with both of us during this time. I’m very happy I don’t bank here and will have my father move his account. Shame on you Carol, and hug your mother if she is still alive, mine is gone and I can’t hug her now
