      The ATM machines are a little dirty sometimes, but the location is convenient. The staff is helpful and friendly.

      I've been a client with First Republic since 2016, when I first refinanced my student loans. Service started off amazing - personal bankers, white glove service to repay all of my interest on loans paid in 2 years or less, etc. However, like most businesses, service started to trail off in 2019. Incongruent clearance times for funds being withdrawn from an account (leading to inappropriate overdraft fees), random freezes (!) of my account when I tried to transfer money between external accounts, random cancellations of payments made to me. They have also removed their interest-repayment clauses for student loan borrowers (mine had already been paid off at this point).

      I just walked over to deposit some cash. Before I got there, I checked Google to make sure they are open. Google said they open at 9. I got there at 9:03 and they said they are only open for seniors from 9 to 10. I explained that Google said they open at 9. He said if I have a small deposit that he can help me. I said I need to deposit $2500. He told me that I would have to come back for that. There were about five tellers sitting in there with no customers and nothing to do. This was the worst customer service ever.
