  major credit to first republic bankers who advocated all the way to washington DC for solar borrowers and launched major call for reform and change in consumer safety for property assessments/ clean energy loan programs. Very refreshing to see a big bank with ethical bankers who really advocate for absolute consumer safety and transparency in lending. Major positive impact!

  We came from out of state to work with the legendary Christopher Pace. We were disappointed and perplexed to be told he is no longer with the bank. It is important for FRB to grasp that he is an authority on pension schemes.

  Terribly unorganized, highly sales-oriented bank focused primarily on wealth management products and their locations are aligned with this strategy (Corporate Center Del Mar, Solana Beach, La Jolla). As a result, support of operations relating to a conventional checking account is NOT a priority: Ignorant clerical staff; representative assigned to your account are the likes of ex-Wells Fargo who want to move up in a niche market such as wealth management. They are not equipped in their branches nor trained in applying due diligence to basic requests of bank operations such as a change of address. They are incapable of issuing official documentation without making omissions and errors, no matter how many reminders you give them. Constant "babysitting" is required. There is No access to their ATM after business hours in the Del Mar branch as the doors of the building where ATM is located inside close at 5 pm on weekdays and it is closed on weekends. Do not open a checking account there, they are Energy Vampires.
