  A very shocking outcome. I have banked here for over 3 years and for the most part they had good rapport were courteous when I went through the drive through. I also had one of my business operating accounts parked here as well. I brought in a check where my client had spelled the name of my business wrong and the drive through teller advised it could be up to a three day hold on the check as I didn't want to drive all the way to provo and back I decided I could wait it out. When I went back on the third day to make a withdrawal and purchase the items the business needed to complete the project.I was then advised that the branch manager wanted to put an additional 7 day hold on the money. To say I was unhappy would be accurate and I let the "manager" know my frustration in this scenario and that it was going to actually cost me more money in delays then the check was actually worth! She had no concerns or worries and said oh well that was my problem the branch manager already made up his mind (the customer reversed two letters in my company name.....) So I am out 14 days on MY money and this to me was very frustrating and cost me big time $$$. At the end of this 14 day hold I come back up from working on the project (200 miles off grid) to get the $$$ and they CLOSED MY FREAKING ACCOUNTS WITH THEM!!! Luckily I have other operating accounts with other banks, if I didn't I would have been screwed as I would have had to set up another business bank account to keep operations flowing, costing me more time and money. I HATE to leave a negative review for any business but I gave them ample opportunities to make this right. They did not they spit in my face and told me they do not want my business, making it enough to spend my precious time and energy letting everybody on the interwebz know First Utah Bank is a HORRIBLE lending institution if you own/operate a business, and I would run not walk another bank or lending institution.

  Excellent bank. Top-notch customer service as they are proactive and polite. Everything is simplified, efficient, and easy to work through compared to a large, national organization.
