My experience with this title company has been astonishingly unprofessional and disappointing: We were required to pay off the balance of an auto loan in order to receive our house loan. In order to do this, we were instructed to include the balance of the vehicle in with our down payment check that FirsTitle was to receive. After closing, FirstTitle managed to immediately deposit our down payment check. 30 days pass, and I receive a call from an employee at FirsTitle who was actually impersonating an employee from my lending bank. She stated that she never sent the check in to pay off our auto loan, and that she is just going to send it back to me to handle. After I had my actual lending company reach out to FirsTitle, FirsTitle then overnighted the check to where it should have gone, but have made no effort to rectify or even acknowledge the damage now done to my credit from the late payment because they dropped the ball on DOING THEIR JOBS.
