  I requested my mortgage insurance ne removed in July. I filed all the paper work they gave me. It's now October and still paying mortgage insurance. So I refinanced and am saving 300 per month.

  I cannot help but agree with every negative comment here. I would have never used this company to refinance knowing they would not communicate through the process, not respond to direct outreach and emails, and that it is not possible to get help on refinancing through the loan center line one the process starts. Horrible customer service and awful to do business with. Fees were drastically higher than quoted, and the agents were sketchy dealing with any push back on that. Constant problems through the process that were not addressed. As a customer of this bank, I am desperately asking you not to trust a letter they give you about loans or refinancing. Your survey reminded me I should let people know about my experience here. Cheers.

  Worst mortgage company ever. I was with another mortgage company and had a couple of house payment in advance. They sold my mortgage to Flagstar and it has been a nightmare since. I figured I was still a few month ahead and because of that I always split my payments bi weekly apparently I was only making the current payments since it was sold to them. They have a option for biweekly payments but you have to be paid a month in advance so now I have to come up with another month's worth.
