      The notary I dealt with asked me multiple times to check on funds during a closing which would not be bad given the circumstances except it was explained that the funds had been sent earlier in the day and obviously once they are sent nothing can be done outside of confirming wore instructions. I felt the agent was rude and unnecessarily so at that. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

      I would not recommend this company. Find another title company for your closing. I was a buyer in a recent house purchase and had no control over the title company used (seller's choice). Florida Title & Guarantee Agency does NOT accept anything but a wire transfer for closing funds. This was an inconvenience and more cost to me. All other title companies I've worked with in the past accepted a cashier's / bank check (around $8 per check) with no problem. The wire transfer was $25. At closing, we were kept waiting in a stuffy room that had little to no circulation and was too warm. Closing took close to two hours; mainly because FTGA had technical problems that prevented them from sending documentation over to the lender to get final approval. This led to 45 minutes of sitting around doing nothing. No refreshments were provided and no one bothered to turn the temperature down to make it more comfortable. A lack of professionalism, preparedness, and consideration. It wouldn't have taken much to make the situation better. These are super basic things to address. Update: Just found out that Florida Title & Guarantee Agency had not ordered the home warranty that was in the purchase contract to be paid by the seller. Closing was a week ago. Thanks for that. Can't imagine what would have happened if I'd needed the home warranty in the past week.
