  I've been a customer for about 25 years. I've had the opportunity to bank with Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo in addition to some smaller local banks and/or credit unions around the country. It has long been the case, no matter where I live, FMB is my bank of choice. By far, FMB exceeds them in service, period. While their customer service has always been excellent, it's not just their ability to engage with customers where they excel. The purpose of a bank is not simply to provide an alternative to under the mattress or a loose floor board in the living room to house your money. A full service bank is a partner who facilitates turning your hard work and your aspirations into a new reality. They do this by finding the best financial vehicles to convert your disposable income into money that earns money without risking your hard earned principle. They do this by helping you turn a few weekly extra pennies into a lump sum over time. They do this by financing your aspirations of education, a new home, or a business venture. But, to effectively do any of these things, they first have to care enough to listen and then, actually, listen. These days banking is all about ATM's and the internet. FMB is up to date with all of the new fangled whiz-bangs and what's-its and no one takes security more seriously than they do. You don't ever have to see anyone after you've set-up your accounts. But, if you need a hand and you need an ear to listen and help you find the financial way to your destination even if it's just out of the hole; FMB shows up everyday except Sunday and federal holidays. This is what a premier banking institution looks like. Integrity and kindness are words that mean something here. FMB is where the good people are doing good things to help your hard work turn in to your dreams. I know that sounds like a commercial but it's just true; because these are just plain folks from just around the way; not the Fat Cat's from Wall Street with their hands in everyone else's pocket.
