  The bank itself doesn't deserve a one star. We have been banking here for 5 yrs and are pretty satisfied with our services. However, recently we tried buying a house with Adam Petersen helping us and we were left less than satisfied, to say the least. In fact, the process took more than 60 days just to find out that we were even close to closing and this was due to the fact that Adam was not motivated at all in getting all of the information we needed to him or to the underwriters. We were up front with him about having put in a notice on our apartment -so needing to have the house closed on within 60 days - and he didn't care. After months of back and forth, and him having to be constantly prompted by our realtor to do anything, we wound up having to sign cancellation papers on the house we were in the process of buying because me, my husband and our two children were left homeless and in a position where we had to return the down payment to my husband's 401k. So, not only were we out of time, out of a place to live and out the down payment money that could have been used for another place, but he also did not get the financial papers to our realtor in time so we were also out the $2,000.00 we had given in earnest money because we had no legal grounds to get it back without those papers. We did not even get an apology from him. Unforgivable.
