      My husband and I had the worst experience trying to get a construction loan through this bank. We had been dragged along for 6 months, was told to spend any money we had to build our home because we would get it right back… 6 months later we had made the decision to switch to Skowhegan Savings Bank after being completely screwed over by Franklin Savings, and were able to close within a month, and even received a much higher loan amount. The lack of communication and providing us knowledge about the loan process was sad. We had a much better experience over at Skowhegan Savings.
