      Update: ** so I did receive calls and emails from Freedom Federal regarding my review and my direct deposit concerns and I understood it to be a bank preference whether or not to provide you with your direct deposit the day they receive notification of money to be received versus the settlement date of money actually received. So Freedom Federal Credit Union may just be a smaller banking institution or just starting out since they do not provide early direct deposit. I love the perks of a bigger credit union and I am just spoiled by them I guess. I do still have issues with the transactions not reflecting in real time on the online banking app but I did not discuss this with customer service at this time. I’m pretty sure I’m just having anxiety over changing banks, let’s see how Freedom works in the long run ** I miss my old Bank! Freedom Federal is definitely not a credit union or at least they don’t act like one. My last bank was a credit union and it was GREAT! I only changed because I moved. My money is not made available when received by the institution nor is their online banking accurate or real time. Don’t get me wrong I balance my checking but when in a pinch I check my online banking account and the available balance could possibly by off by hundreds. I am just not used to my money being held for so long before made available to me, it’s government funds!
