  Freedom mortgage (not necessarily this particular building, but the company as a whole) is filled with nothing but incompetent hacks who cannot do a single part of their job correctly. From refinancing, to scheduling, to escrow and taxes. Nothing they have done has been correct. Not paying the homeowners insurance without me calling them to remind them. Giving me a ton of money back from escrow because it was "overfunded" only to then tell me I need to give them even more money back because it was underfunded. I had to then call them and explain the escrow to them and why it was wrong. When refinancing they got the term wrong numerous times. I called them over and over again to fix it and they never did. On the actual day of closing, hours before the notary was to be at my house, they still had not fixed it and had to cancel the appointment. Even now with my second attempt at refinancing they can do nothing right. Making a scheduled time for close and then sending an email to tell me that they changed it without my input or confirmation. Surprise surprise, that time wasn't acceptable since I am at work at that time. If you like to gamble with hundreds of thousands of dollars then Freedom Mortgage is for you. If you're like me and would prefer to feel safe with your money I suggest trying out literally every other mortgage company first and then maybe a few more shady places if you still can't get a mortgage. Then, if that doesn't work then I would suggest doing nothing as opposed to using this laughing stock of a company. Don't believe me? They have a 1.7 star rating on 129 reviews on wallet hub. My mortgage was sold to freedom mortgage so I had no choice in using them. They can probably only get customers by buying mortgages because no one would willingly use them.
