  it is nice to have a full service Golden 1 credit Union branch in West Sacramento, just beware though that it gets very busy here during the lunch rush and during the weekends. I got there and there were only two people in line, but within 5 minutes there were 10 people behind me. Due to social distancing, the line was out the door. they only had two tellers on during the lunch rush today. The interior is not very welcoming, but it gets the job done.

  Golden 1 Bank is failing. I went to build a bear with my kids and went to pay, but was told my credit card was denied because it was expired however my card didn't expire until 12/21. I called Golden 1 and low and behold they did cancel my card and activated a new card that hadn't arrived yet. It has been 3 weeks and no card in sight. I tried to call to report it lost so that they can cancel the one lost in the mail, but guess who doesn't answer the phone ever. I have been trying to call for a week and they still haven't picked up the phone. I emailed them a week ago with no response. I am going to get a new bank as soon as I can. I would not recommend Golden 1 to anyone. Even 1 star is generous.

  This location is always helpful and pleasant. Has been inconvenient during parts of this pandemic like when it was temporarily closed. Since reopening its been fine. As a business, due to pandemic, they have changed their hours. Would like to see open to 5:30 daily and would like to see more tellers on known high traffic days of the month. As for tellers and bankers...all good people, just keep pleasantries short and conversations on business at hand when there are others waiting for help😊
