  Gordon is the worst person to deal with. He doesn’t return calls. He doesn’t massage the docs with the lender he’s using. He’s not proactive with a file. He over promises and doesn’t deliver. He promises a 2 week close, yet after 3 weeks your still waiting. He’s only doing this for 7 years and doesn’t have the experience and fortitude needed to deliver hard money. He doesn’t go over any docs and explain them to a client. He emails them and doesn’t make sure the client is fully aware of everything in paperwork. He does very little work. He is just a middle man that shuffles your docs to a lender and doesn’t pick up a phone and call lenders when questions arise. When one asks a question, you are lucky to have him return it by next day, if your lucky. He just mishandled an easy 1.8 million dollar hard money loan and kept telling us one thing and another happened. He opened escrow for client on a Monday, then tells client docs are ordered and close is Friday same week. On way to title lender calls and tells client the lender isn’t doing loan. Gordon told us everything opposite. He’s very hard to understand on phone. He seems to be nice guy, but his Chinese accent is quite heavy and he’s super hard to understand. Being in the US only 8 years, he doesn’t have the fortitude and work ethic as one would have if they worked in the finance field here in US for 20 or 30 years. He operates under a different culture and mindset. He’s very laid back and shows no urgency on behalf of a client. I’m not angry with him, I just warning others about this, so they don’t allow Gordon to do the same things he did with my client last week. Worst hard money lender, which he’s not an actual lender, I ever worked with. He represents different lenders and gets a 2% commission for basically taking your docs and passing them along to a direct lender. Save your money and find a direct lender to work with.
