      Ms. Javien Ramos assisted me today and she went above and beyond to help me! I went into GNO today hoping to set up a checking account and i left with so much more! She really took the time to help me out with my finances and was so patient and understanding. Wonderful and welcoming personality! Thank you Ms. Ramos and GNOFCU!:)

      I do not recommend this credit union at all. They will hold your funds as long as they can, and my other credit union suggested that what they are doing is possibly fraud. They held the funds from a cashiers check for 11 days, and they knew it was valid. Also, there is no call center during hurricanes. No help at all from 2 days before a storm until who knows how long after. Get your money out before hurricane season, or you might get stuck with no evacuation funds! UPDATE: After a week of GNO giving me the run around and not being able to fully or consistently explain why they were holding the funds, they released the full amount less than 12 hours after I wrote this review. It seems that they don’t have a system for releasing cashiers checks, and that it’s all up to whoever is working that day. That does not inspire confidence in a financial institution. I’d recommend choosing a different credit union.
