  I gave 5 stars for good customer service and reasonable prices. Needed to pawn personal items for car repairs which felt kind of humiliating to have to do anyways. They offered far better price than the get over on north and Druid hill.I will never darken that doorway again Customer service goes a long wsy for me. Thank you gentlemen for being courteous n polite n professional and for making process so easy.

  SCAMMERS! They sold my camera and accessories that was stolen! A thief stole my stuff and sold to them. I showed them proof that the serial number to the property was mine. They hurried and sold my stuff before the police could get it back! Stay away from this shady business! They have no morals. They sell stolen property. No wonder why there's so many thieves in the city...the thieves can count on them to accept stolen property! They even had the nerve to propose I buy MY property back! Trash business! Response to owner: I have never received a call from anyone at this establishment. You must have me mixed up with another person that had their stuff stolen. The individual who stole my property was not a family member! I will call, as directed, and update my rating accordingly! 4/22/22 - Spoke to Pat on the phone about incident. They have on record the property in question. He wasn’t aware of the incident so he speak on what exactly occurred but after the hood on my property was released by the Police Dept Pawn unit, his shop sold it soon after. I’m just upset they were aware the property was stolen and didn’t contact me before selling it, since they did have my contact information. The value of the camera was substantial enough but the photos on the memory card was priceless. Unfortunately, nothing was resolved and I only received sympathy from the call.

  Ivy, we have reached out to you on several occasions. We put the camera on the side for you and never heard back. Truth be told if we had not bought the camera from your family member who stole it from you (which we did not know) there would have been no chance for you to get it back. If you can contact us in a reasonable fashion, we would love the opportunity to rectify the situation. Please call us or come in. 3118 Greenmount Ave. or 410.243.3311 So sorry you had this happen to you, but again we have done everything we could to get the camera back to you, and will figure out another way at this time to make things right again.

  Great people that work there. My father and I used to go to Gordy regularly until we moved. I hope their honesty and integrity has continued since we left.
