  Love banking with Greenstate. I recently opened a checking account and Justin Weekly helped me. He made it simple, quick and easy and explained everything. He was very kind and friendly.He also helped me set up the mobile app. I would definitely recommend this bank and Justin for banking needs.

  Charge you each month if you do too many transfers in your OWN account with your OWN money. I complained and they told me it was to "encourage savings." Thanks, but I don't need your encouragement! It is a very sneaky way for this CU to make money. This was not always a practice of this CU and I will be looking for a new bank. If you bank here, make sure you are checkong your account for pett charges!

  Thank you for your comment and feedback, Rachel. Due to federal regulations and taxation rules, there are limits on how many transfers or withdrawals can be done from a savings account. Once the federal limit is exceeded, these accounts are flagged as they are no longer following those regulations. All members are able to process three free transfers or withdrawals from savings accounts each month and then are charged $1 per transfer to limit the likelihood of exceeding the regulations. We always encourage members to not use their savings account to pay bills, and if they are going to transfer, to transfer larger amounts so they don’t have to do multiple smaller transfers and exceed the government regulations. There are no fees to withdraw and transfer funds from checking accounts. We are happy to review your accounts and get you set up to ensure you avoid these fees in the future.
