Do not recommend using this bank. They closed our account when it went to $0 and tried to tell us it was our fault even though it had gone to $0 without it closing countless times in the years we’ve had it. They didn’t even call us to let us know and said that it wasn’t their job to do that because they have 1000s of customers. Even though it’s been stated before that they’re supposed to. They even charged us to open our account back. Now our direct deposit paychecks we’ve worked hard for will not be hitting our account till next week so now we can not pay our bills that are due. When we went to the main branch to try and sort out the problem the staff was very rude and condescending and very blaming and even gave us wrong information about our balance at first for another persons account. We are not the only people we know that have had problems with them lately. They’ve seemed to change lately. We’ve had other problems with them too lately that I won’t get in to. Once we can open a new account with a new bank we will be closing our account with Guaranty and no longer banking with them.
