  This is a general comment not specific to Jason as I did not have direct communication with him through this process. I actually started the home purchase application with Michael Jefferson but transitioned to a home refinance after experiencing a volatile buyers market that I was not prepared to be competitive in. Michael and his team always set clear expectations for first the home approval process then the transition to the refinance process. Michael always made himself accessible via text and telephone to answer question about qualifications requirements sometimes explaining twice when my spouse was not able to attend a telephone call. He was extremely pleasant, professional, and easy to do business with. He was also extremely candid in his responses and I never felt like he was just trying to close a deal. He established trust. I applied with my bank in tandem for both the home purchase and refinance process to try to get a competitive rate. While I had an initial positive experience there as well, when we got to underwriting review things were off kilter with my bank. I felt like my loan officer there needed me to jump through hoops and burdened me with gaining additional rate match information that may have won my business had he not. Guild’s rate had already beat theirs so the burden should have been on them to at the very least match. I don’t know if Michael’s internal relationships with Guild’s underwriting team gave him a leg up here but things were always just easy. If he didn’t have the answer right away I trusted that he would get back to me with it. The processing team was also exemplary. Alexa quickly got me acclimated to the portal and our responsibilities for the application process. She gave me the blueprint we would follow and primed me for anticipated requests for underwriting. At no point was I confused about my expectations. Tara was also excellent. She was very responsive and gave us weekly updates on progress towards closing. We actually started a refinance with our original lender in Sept 2021 before we decided to sell. That process went on through January 2022 and by comparison to Guild, was awful. We had an originator who met her quota with us for FHA to Conventional with cash out conversion. We then got turned over to an inept processor who repeatedly bungled our loan. It’s ironic that his title was Customer Advocate because he never served that function. It was a nightmare and we ultimately decided to walk away right before close because of their inability to communicate and accurately process our loan. We had a more favorable rate with them but they just could not get their act together especially at the end when it came to scheduling the close and we were fed up. I share this experience because I truly believe in the importance of customer service and the client experience. I see that Guild shares those values as well. Big Kudos to Michael, Alexa, and Tara. They made this a great experience beginning to end!

  Chris Bodin, Alexa and Ari all did a great job. Can’t say enough good things but it was a pleasure to work with such friendly, knowledgeable and hard working to get the best loan possible in the timeframe we needed. Thanks!

  Just completed our third mortgage / refi with Jason Gosser and his amazing crew. Very happy with the whole process and would recommend them if you're looking for a bowl full of accurate, friendly, and efficient service, with a big dollop of great rates on top, and a garnished with a cherry of excellent communication.
