Ive Been a HPCU (DTCU) member for several years. I have always had exceptional experiences at HPCU. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. No issues with anything! Don't trust the negative, one star review, that sounds like poor planning on the individual's part, not the bank. Some people always want to blame someone else for their problems...

Will not honor their own check and they are super rude! Would advise against getting an account with this credit union.

Mr. Otis, any transactions done at the credit union require a credit union membership account by the person cashing check, even when check you received is drawn on an HPCU members account. You would need to cash the check at the financial intuition you normally do business with/have an account at so it runs through the proper account/check clearing channels at your own financial institution. Credit union teller staff are only following guidelines set by the credit union Board of Directors, and sorry you took there response as rude by not cashing your check but they are following credit union check cashing policies.

If you want nothing but trouble sign up with this unfit institution! Otherwise I'd steer clear of this place. Nothing but headache after headache dealing with these fools. After 22 years this is it. Account is being closed as soon as possible.
