      I was disappointed at the previous reviews, so wanted to share my experience with Heritage Bank. We moved here in 2012 and I wanted a local bank that will actually answer the phone - with a real person - when you call. I was also looking for good internet banking services. Bank on Heritage is a great online tool to manage your finances. So I found a hometown bank with more advanced internet services like a larger bank, but with the small-town attention you expect. I have found them all to be nothing but pleasant when I call or email....and get a timely response every time. I love this bank!

      I went in to open a basic savings account and was told no because I have a 7yr old bankruptcy on my record also my friend who has an account at the bank was told they couldn't cash her payroll check because she has a payee and they wouldn't tell her her balance on her account no thanks heritage bank I'll take my money elsewhere

      One of the original banks in town. It just has a different name then it was originally. It's a small Branch with just a couple other Banks so you're ATM and stuff like that is kind of limited to the area, Most of the original staff has retired, the bank is now very understaffed and looks almost deserted inside, the staff is very undertrained and slow.
