  As medical professionals, my mother and I are pretty much uninformed when it comes to financial matters. My mother had been contemplating retirement for years and Covid finally prompted her to get more serious about setting an end date. We didn’t know where to start, but thankfully we found Chris Jennings and he has been wonderful. Despite years of responsible saving, the idea of living without a salary was daunting to her. Chris helped us understand how to invest her money, how much she can afford to spend, what accounts and amounts to take the money from, and when she should claim social security. After just a few meetings, we have more clarity than ever and that feeling of angst has gone away. Chris also introduced us to an affordable attorney who helped retitle our family beach home as part of her estate plan. He was also somehow able to turn one of her old IRAs into a Roth for a low cost. I still don’t understand all of it, I just know that we feel SO much better about everything. Having confidence that my mother can live comfortably as she continues to age has been invaluable to us. Chris is so detailed, always eager to help, and even offered to meet with us in the evening to accommodate our hectic schedules. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he clearly loves what he does and that has made it even more enjoyable to work with him. We initially loathed the idea of going through this process but now feel a huge sense of relief. Thank you Chris!
