  I'll NEVER buy a Highland home, ever again. Installers and construction manager were purely incompetent. Construction manager was fired but installers were still terrible. My buddy with a KB Home had much less issues than me. When we finally got a tiler who knew what he was doing, he said there are too many homes being built, not enough workers, so they hire ANYBODY. Installs were so bad that my wife knew these people were picked off the street. Highland will promise you model home quality, but you'll have to get it fixed over and over until you settle out of sheer frustration. To add, customer service is terrible after you sign the contract (no surprise) You can pick the nicest upgrades, but you'll be playing the lottery with the installers . And if you get a bad installer, your upgrade that you spent top dollar will look cheap. Replacements/repairs (no exaggerating here): Fireplace stone: replaced x4 Master bath tile: replaced x1, then they got the grout wrong on the 2nd run Kitchen backsplash: replaced x3 (installed chipped and cracked glass tile) Tile in main area x 1 (Tile had elevation differences of 1 inch in certain areas, and cracked tile was laid down--seriously?) Shower door fell off Door knobs fell off Leaking fireplace Inoperable windows Kitchen drawers wouldn't close (they wanted to leave some as is cuz they couldn't fix it--terrible standards) Chimney leak They painted my rooms as a concession for their atrocious mistakes, but only laid down one coat, lol. Very obvious. What a terrible apology. Install was BAD! Their standards are nonexistent. Real sad that they don’t care about craftsmanship... just your money. All this is fixed now though...but I moved heaven and earth to get it fixed. Be warned folks. Salesman will sweet talk you and refute this review. Buy an inventory home where they're forced to to get it right to sell. Talk to the people who live here.

  Lovely large homes ranging for 200k to 700k. Mature trees, wonderful community pool, and fun play ground with tree house. Walking trails found throughout the community.
