  These guys went way far above and beyond to get me and my family into our dream home!! I couldn't be happier with my selection to go with Home Loan Studio to buy my first house!

  Initially everything was great. The loan officer was very informative about their process. I explained that I had student loan debt and my DTI was high. The LO convinced me to just start the process and even if they couldn't approve me I'd know what I needed to work on. So, I started the process. I was told my loans were not an issue because their system gave me an approval. I let my realtor know. We found a house I loved, made an offer, offer accepted! I was asked for additional documents and letters during the underwriting process and each time I immediately gave them what they asked for. Then, I stopped hearing from them. I and my realtor called, emailed and even texted. Nothing! So, I check the loan status app on my phone and my loan has been updated to approved with a message to be on the lookout for the closing disclosure. A couple says go by and nothing. My realtor drove to Home Loan Studio to get some answers and was told they no longer had legal authority to speak on the loans that were written under Verity Mortgage which was their financiers. They wrote a lady's name and number on a post it and that was it. Long story short, when we get in touch with Verity they said my final application was denied the week prior and that Home Loan Studio should have informed me. Devastating! This was a week before my purchase agreement expired. Needless to say, I lost the home and the poor elderly seller had to put his home back on the market and start over. Awful experience!

  So I put earnest money down and paid for inspection. Then I stop hearing from the mortgage company. I message one of the employees and she says she no longer works for the company. No one responds. They supposedly decided to go with a different mortgage company and just left me hanging. So now I am dealing with some woman in Texas who is handling my loan, but is not responsive. I'm suppose to be closing on a house and I am left in the dark. I think this is a scam. I don't think this is a legit mortgage company. I will be making a police report as these people have all of my personal information. I have to change my bank account and passwords. I have to freeze my credit and im out of getting the house that I wanted. Im losing my earnest money and already paid appraisal and still owe for inspection.
