  Ty Kirkpatrick at Arroyo Consulting Group was referred to us by a well regarded/famous architect in Los Angeles. He had worked with Ty on several client projects and his own personal home in Laguna Beach as well. We were impressed with his knowledge of construction financing and his understanding of building on very steep hillside property. Our unique project, construction appraisal and thick loan package had a few challenges that Ty successfully guided us through. We locked in a low interest rate, funded the loan smoothly and started construction immediately. We recommend HomeConstructionLoan and Ty Kirkpatrick; they are clearly trustworthy and have been highly responsive to all our calls, emails, and texts.   We were referred to Ty Kirkpatrick at HomeConstructionLoan / Arroyo Consulting Group by two other families building homes in the San Francisco Bay Area who have also worked with them. Our project is a little unique in that a substantial portion of the project involves the prefabrication of the home in a manufacturing facility before delivery. Despite it being of equal to or better than the quality of many more traditional site-building methods, prefabricated is often misunderstood and a non-starter for most construction lenders. Thankfully, Ty had the experience and background to overcome the challenge and help us fund an outstanding construction loan with a permanent mortgage. Prefabricated homes are really built to higher quality standards in many cases and it’s a shame that more lenders don’t understand them. Please remember that as your Consultants we are here with you until you put the key in the door of your brand new home for the very first time (in 12-15 months or so :-))

  We found it extremely difficult to find the right lending solution for our home addition and remodel. Initial Google searches pointed us to the large national lenders. We came away unimpressed and empty-handed when diving into the details of what those institutions can offer. After hours/days of research running into dead end after dead end, we thought we found a solution with a potential lending provider but only to run into another dead end after several phone calls with our contact. Unfortunately, the flexibility desired with the total cost of construction was hard to overcome with other providers. We were about to change our scope of work to lower the cost until we FINALLY found Ty Kirkpatrick at HomeConstructionLoan/ Arroyo Consulting Group. After one phone call -- we realized we found the right team to support us. Ty and his team walked us through the process required during the initial call and provided very helpful documents to aid our understanding. While the process can be daunting (certainly was for us), it was clear we found the right partner to help us navigate the many hurdles to arrange a construction-to-permanent loan. Ty was highly responsive throughout the process and answered each of our questions in stride. We could not have made it through this process without Ty's / Arroyo's support. In the end, we secured a construction-to-permanent loan at a rate we could not find elsewhere AND we did so without a change to the full scope home addition and remodel.
