  We refinanced our home with Homestar and worked with Matthew Dull, who was great to work with. Matthew took us through the process step by step and kept us informed along the way. He was very responsive and answered all of our questions promptly. I would highly recommend working with Homestar and be sure to ask for Matthew! Even if you only have a few questions- he is more than willing to help you... That is how we got started with our refinancing, now we are saving so much money and are more than pleased with the process. Thanks to Homestar and Matthew Dull for making our mortgage refinancing process so easy!

  Disappointed with Homestar on two fronts: 1. The process of closing on my loan was not smooth at all. I probably received 20 separate one-off requests after submitting all of my initial information asking for a single document here and there. It was extremely inefficient and frustrating to be answering another request every other day for over a month. 2. The main appeal of Homestar for us was having someone local that we knew who would help us through the process and not sell our loan as soon as we closed. 4 weeks after moving in, we got notice that they sold our loan and it will be serviced by some other random company. If I had known this would be the case, I would have just gone with a company like Rocket Mortgage that could have got me a better price and rate.

  It was phenomenal working with Matthew Dull and the Homestar team on my recent home refinance. He was able to expedite the process being there every step of the way. This was tremendous for me working under tight timelines and a busy work schedule. He has my full endorsement and I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the market.
