  George Chevalier is a man of integrity who goes above and beyond the call of duty for his clients!! I tried to get a mortgage loan last year with a traditional bank but just felt like a number on a piece of paper. I was very disillusioned by the process and thought the idea of owning a home would never happen. By the grace of GOD I found George and he told me from the beginning he would get me into the home of MY choice. Well after 4 months, 3 contract revisions and having the closing date pushed back 6 times...I closed on my home TODAY!! George has been so unbelievable I really do not have adequate words to describe this man!! He never lost faith and inspired me to BELIEVE!!! I am just a single parent trying to give my son a better life and thanks to George Chevalier and Homestar Financial Corporation...I can truly begin a new chapter in life!!!

  HOMESTAR has been nothing but stress to me. When I decided to move to Georgia from NY my realtor connected me Beverly who I believe wasn’t much help. There is so much miscommunication with HOMESTAR. Like every assistant I speak to give me different information and then one will say they corrected the issue and when I call again another assistant will say it wasn’t corrected and the cycle will continue. The loan officer to the assistants need to do better. They send me a letter stating my mortgage is reduced and then an assistant told me that’s not the case. I am so frustrated with HOMESTAR!! I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

  Homestar deserves no stars! Please don't be surprised if they don't communicate with you, don't answer the phone, don't respond to your emails or text messages. And then when you speak with them they request you to send in the same information you've already sent them. They are unbelievable and will cause you to loose your home by always needed to extend the contract. The manager will step in with no answers, once you talk with him, you'll know why the loan officers and processors are the way they are. Be very careful dealing with this company!
