  We drove 4 hours with our life packed in a 15ft. Uhaul and 2 dogs to move into a house on Lake St. in Cooperstown, NY. Sharon Teator, the realtor we had been in constant contact with up until the day of moving in, agreed to meet us between 5-6pm. With Sharon confirming to meet us at said time to give us the keys, we got there at 4:45, and waited until 6:15 calling Sharon’s number, desperately trying to contact her with no success. We ended up having to find a pet friendly place to stay and paying for a hotel that night. When finally contacted by another realtor from Howard Hanna, Donna Shultz, much later in the evening, there was no explanation and barely an apology for leaving us high and dry on the street for hours, however she tried her best to mend the situation and agreed to meet us the next morning to finally see the house. We ended up deciding to not go through with the rental due to the horrifying experience which we deemed completely unprofessional, unacceptable, and in no way the correct manner to do business. Deeply disappointed in these realtors and the company they work for. After seeing the house, the listing is borderline false advertising. No large lawn as posted, no driveway parking. Of course, all of these things could have been overlooked had the realtor showed up on the agreed date and time. Extremely unsatisfied to report that even to this moment, a whole day later, still have not received an adequate explanation from Sharon as to why she left us with nowhere to go and nobody to help us. Absolutely despicable.

  We bought our house about 4-5 yrs ago threw Ms.Ough she did not tell us there was sulfur water,which is put in her report. I am writing this now as I just found this site. Do you know how much water we have bought because of her neglect just so she could sell the house to make profit for her pocket. Now she has done it again. My address is 6004 St Hwy 51 Burlington Flats NY. My friend bought the house towards 80. She assured them that it did not have sulfur water. She would have smelled it. They turned the water on per me but because it has been sitting so long we didn't smell it. It's really bad that realtors would keep things from the possible owners. I would NOT recommend her to sell any one a house. She is only out for the money. Pretty said that she would go that low. All the money you made a water machine to put on to remove the sulfur would be nice for both of us. It makes me sick.
