      I always have had a pleasant experience with the credit union, whether it’s with the teller or the call center. I have been with them since 2011 for various accounts and I’m always happy. Even though I currently live out of state, I still bank with them regularly.

      I've been using the HVFCU branch in New Windsor since it opened. This is a great alternative to their larger branch on Union Ave (near Wal-Mart) since it is usually less crowded. Both the inside and the lawns and grounds are always very clean and they seem to invest some of their revenue into maintenance to keep the credit union looking sharp. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional. They only have one drive-thru ATM (but 2 teller drive-thru lanes). The ATM lane can get backed up sometimes during peak times, which is basically the case at any bank or credit union, but there is another ATM in the lobby which usually doesn't have a wait time. The location is good with fairly easy access, depending on the time of day (with traffic). The ATMs do occasionally have issues and go out of service, but that seems to have gotten better over recent time. The parking lot is spacious and you never have to fight for a spot. The long business hours are accommodating so customers working different hours can almost always stop in. There is a coin machine inside where members can deposit their coins to their accounts with no fees.
