  Huntington Bank is the worst bank possible. I was a victim of online fraud. Huntington recoursed every dollar I had and than some leaving me far in the negatives. For months I called everyday and begged for provisional credit. They allowed me to go without any money for food and gas. No method of getting to and from my job. I had to do what I could to make cash to live while fighting a bank I had been with problem and fraud free for over 5 years. Even after going to the police and filling reports and turning over everything possible to them as evidence that I was the victim. The branch manager of Chagrin Falls, Ohio looked me in the face and laughed and told me his 18 year old son wouldn’t of made that mistake. So because I’m not online every moment of my life and didn’t understand what a scam looks like I got punished. Not only verbally by the manager but long term. This was almost a year ago. I’m still paying for it. As I refuse to pay the collection agency a dime for an issue that I felt like I was the victim of. Huntington bank did NOT protect me from scams or fraud. If anything they protected the scammer and allowed them to get away with the crime. To this day I cannot apply for credit or any big financial moves. I’m stuck stagnate. Effectively because I used Huntington and made 1 mistake in my 5 plus years of banking with them, they left me with a deficit and demanded I pay them back or else. Big banks should protect those who are loyal to them. Not disband their customers when things get rough. Especially customers who have no history of fraud or issues that are related. I truly hope the people at Huntington get what’s coming.
