  I received a check from state farm written on Huntington Bank. I recently married so my last name was different on the check than my license. I do not and never will have an account there. I was treated rudely at the drive-thru and told I must come in with 2 forms of id-which she currently had. A drivers license and certified marriage certificate. I told her I called to make sure what was required as I ONLY brought what I was told was required and drove 40 min to the Huntington Bank. When I went inside I told the teller they should tell folks everything required because it was important. I was not snotty or rude, was just telling her. Her response to me was that i needed to calm down IF I wanted the check cashed. Needless to say, the visit went down hill from there. Another worker chimed in and told me there were lots of new employees who didn't know everything so I needed to give them some slack. I said I live 40 miles away and no gas to get home so it was quite important and why I called ahead. It appears to me if new employees do not know the answers yet they should ask someone else, not answer the phone or be better trained. Not blame the customer. I guess they want to ensure they acquire NO NEW customers. The rude condescending way I was treated was completely needless and disrespectful. Worst customer service experience I have had in many years.

  Terrible hours. By the time I get off work I would never be able to come into the bank. Luckily the machine takes care of there work for them, it's like they expect people to call off work to come in.
