      Called before I arrived to see all of what I needed to cash a two party check. Explained it was an IRS check . Was told just our IDs. The check was well within the time allotted by government to cash. When we presented the check to the clerk ( who was in the middle of a personal call on her cell ) she slid the check back and said they couldn’t cash past 7 days old. When questioned where is that policy and other policies posted so we knew in the future. Her response was she didn’t know just to cash at bank. When asked for her first name so we could talk to manager she responded she didn’t have to give her name. If that is their policy we can’t argue with that just wanted to know where it was posted so we had future reference. It escalated more then it should have because clerk couldn’t properly answer about their rules and policies and was more into her phone conversation who she never paused or hung up with while we were at her window. More upset about lack of knowledge and dismissive nature by clerk then the waste of cab fare to get there. Wished no stars was an option.
