  Six times! Yup! that is how many times I had to re-file due to various incompetence and basic errors the Other banks and Other loan officers made that confused the underwriters to deny me the loan. I thought with an 840 credit score, zero debt, no mortgage, it would be easy-ish and I understood that being self-employed meant that just a little effort was going to be required between loan officer and underwriter… but I guess minimal effort is just to much to ask thus they wasted my time and opportunities as a whole year was wasted with their run around…. And then I met Ian. I so wish I had met Ian a year ago! Not only did Ian get it done. Ian got it done well and in a minimal amount of time. Let's compare: Other loan officers: Pretended to care but when it came to doing ANYTHING that required them to exert the basic of effort it was oblivious I was just a number to them. If I did not babysit them or keep up on them, my file would just be further down the pile and progress would not happen. Often they would forget or not pay attention to critical details. I cannot tell you how many times I felt like I was having to do their job for them. Ian: It is obvious that Ian cares. Every step of the way Ian exuded his passion and desire to always do whatever it takes to make sure things are done right the first time, they are done thoroughly and done professionally well. It is obvious he has a healthy pride for his work and excited to help get you your loan. Other loan officers: Difficult to get ahold of. SO FRUSTRATING!!! Often it would take a week or two before I would get a response after leaving emails and phone messages. And the press# prompts to get to speak to them... Ian: Calls go right to him. Often would answer right when I call or would immediately respond with “Get right back with you soon.” And he would!! I know he is busy, I know he has many other clients and files on his desk but I was always treated like I was his only client and he was there to give me 110% each time, every call, each text, email…. and he always knew every detail of my loan situation. Other loan officers: Often left me wondering if they knew how to do their job or even understood their job. It was more than obvious they did not care. I was just a file on their desk. Ian: By the time I met Ian, I was like the beaten dog in the corner with a bit of a snarl… Ian was patient. Ian took his time. Ian, with grace and ease, calmed my stresses and concerns. He remained supportive to my need to triple check things at times or question his progress due to the past experiences. Ian is confident and competent and left me each time knowing my loan was in great hands. I knew at times I was an impatient pain in th .... . More than once I apologized to Ian. Every time, Ian genuinely assured me that it was not an issue at all and remained understanding and patient the entire way often re-explaining things to me for the umpteenth time until the answers to my questions finally sank in. Not once, not ever, did I feel him frustrated or regret taking on my need for a loan. I can continue… do you need to hear more? I can share more if you are still on the fence that having Ian on your side helping you with your loan will be the smartest thing you can do. If you do need more convincing, reach out to Ian and he will connect us. I will gladly answer all your questions/concerns so you know having Ian do your loan is the best decision to make right now.

  We just closed on our home loan with Ian. We had a very complicated loan and Ian handled it very professionally and promptly. He was always very quick to respond and follow up on any questions that we had. He found a creative solution for our loan and was able to get us approved and closed. I would highly recommend Ian for any home loan needs. Thank you Ian!
