  I recently (7/24/21) went to get a title / plates/ city sticker for a new vehicle that I purchased and the young lady who helped me(she's expecting) was the one that helped me. She was very polite! I don't want to bash her, when doing the title application she mentioned many times "make sure your information is correct, after we submit it and there's an error, you will have to go to the Secretary of State to get it fixed." Everything on my title application was correct; however, when she asked if I was getting a city sticker, she already had my information and went ahead and printed it out. She did not ask me to confirm the address on there, I left and when I was about to apply sticker on my windshield, I noticed the residential zone number was not the correct one for my street (I mentioned to her I lived in a residential block). I called the office back and WHOEVER answered the phone was very unprofessional. I explained that I was never told to confirm my address for my city sticker. We had done the title registration and plates process before that and she already had all of my information and she typed the wrong address for my zone ; hence I have a different zone number. I did not give attitude over the phone, I recognized it was a simple mistake. The person who answered the call was like "There's nothing we can do you have to go to the secretary of state." I kept talking explaining the situation and they hung up. First of all, I also work in customer service, these ladies (who are definitely around my age) need to 1) Apologize for the inconvenience. And also, 2) Not be rude and hang up 3) State the right information. I called the currency exchange on 55th and Pulaski and explained my situation and they emphasized "You don't even have to go to the secretary of state for them to give you a new city sticker, you have to go to the City Clerk." I have gone to the city clerk and they are demanding for a utility bill under my name which I don't have. I am extremely upset for the inconvenience but their unprofessionalism is what's worse. The day I was there, the girls were having personal conversations with each other as they're assisting customers and calling each other "b***h" which is normal. I call my friends that but there's a time and place for everything.

  ***EDIT... I WAS JUST RECENTLY MADE AWARE OF THIS REVIEW AND IT NEEDS TO BE KNOWN THAT EVEN THOUGH IT WAS DONE IN MY NAME, I NEVER WROTE THIS!!! I HAVE FOUND OUT WHO IT WAS WHO DID LEAVE THIS REVIEW AND WHILE THE PERSON HAD GOOD INTENTIONS, AS THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE "DEFENDING ME" OVER AN ISSUE THEY WITNESSED WHILE BEING THERE WITH ME, I DO NOT APPRECIATE HAVING SOMETHING SAID AS ME, WHEN I WASN'T AWARE, AND HAVING WORDS PUT IN MY MOUTH!!! I DO NOT LEAVE REVIEWS LIKE THIS, AS I WILL ALWAYS COME TO STAFF WITH ANY ISSUES PERSONALLY!!! BUT SINCE THIS WAS SAID, I WILL ADDRESS THIS NOW... YES, I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH A GIRL WHO WORKS THERE, HOWEVER, PLEASE KNOW THAT ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED AND I HAVE HAD NO ISSUES SINCE, AND THE ENTIRE STAFF HAS GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND TO FIX IT, AND THEY HAVE ALSO GONE ABOVE AND BEYOND TO HELP MY HUSBAND AND I ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS WHEN OTHER PLACES WOULDN'T GIVE THAT SAME CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I DO APOLOGIZE FOR ANY CONFUSION THIS MAY HAVE CAUSED, AND I AM SORRY FOR NOT FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS SOONER!!! THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO MY RANT!!! BE SAFE AND HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY!!!***Staff here is rude... (Especially the young girl with long dark brown hair!!!) Unhelpful... The lines are too long just to end up being treated poorly!!! Better off going a few blocks away to a different currency exchange!!!
