I have had a mortgage with Independent Bank for a long time starting in 1998 when my husband and I bought a home. Then, after he passed away I refinanced at a great rate. The process was seamless. Over the life of the mortgage, there were literally no issues with this bank. Again, I refinanced with my fiancé in 2019 in order to remodel my home and consolidate debt. Again, this bank made the whole process easy. Constant contact. Consistent communication. Easy hand off from one staff to another through the mortgage process. Bernie Marvin and his amazing mortgage team are the real thing. A bank that cares about doing a good job for their customers, doing what’s best and providing solid financing. Thank you, Bernie for making this process so easy.

Conveniently located in the area between the Knapp area and the Plainfield/Northland merge. Easy access to building on the North side. My wife was very pleased with the attention and interaction she received from the staff...especially the bank manager. Good community bank.
