  I had the unfortunate coincidence of an online hacking and theft- on Labor Day! While I was at work!!! Having immediately called Member Services to cancel my compromised debit card, I was issued another overdraft fee in the meantime while the branches were closed. I walked into the credit union with a sense of loss and shame for something that I understood wasn't my fault, in spite of how it could appear objectively. I was able to walk out with true peace of mind- while even having recovered some of those lost finances! I was educated on how my position plays out in this matter and how I was protected by the institution. I would like to recognize Annie at this branch for her outstanding customer service and quality assurance. I make it a point to visit this branch when I have needs that can't be solved online or over the phone, always pleased by their efficiency and professionalism.

  Looking for a bank or credit union? Run as fast and as far away from IQ Credit Union as possible. If I could give zero stars, I would! Wife has been a member for almost a decade (I won't touch the place) and went in today to open a blocked guardianship account for a settlement our daughter received. It took four incompetent bank employees huddled around the counter to even figure out what type of account this was and then they began to interrogate her with private, personal questions at the counter of a very crowded bank. In the end they refused to even open the account due to "years old late payments on student loans." Which they made sure to announce so everyone in the lobby could hear. They actually said to her that one of the reasons they couldn't open the account was because she was a risk to take the money from our daughter! No matter that she has banked there for a decade without issue. No matter that she has a sizeable savings account in this branch greater than 60% of all Americans. This interaction was embarrassing and completely unprofessional. We have a large check waiting to clear for the purchase of an automobile and will be withdrawing our money from this credit union the moment it clears.
