  I was a first time home buyer, with student loans and didn't have much of a credit since I was living out of the country for many years prior to coming back. Yes, I work at IPM, but it was not an easy task to find the right loan for us, and Kevin did it!! I was lucky enough to find a house quickly in this crazy market and the loan process was a breeze due to excellent guidance and support throughout. I highly recommend Iron Point Mortgage.

  I just had the best experience with Kevin and his team. I'm going through a rough divorce, and our attorneys negotiated on settling our property before settling any other assets and debts, let alone the divorce. I shopped around, and I can tell you, Iron Point Mortgage is much more knowledgeable than many other firms when it comes settling property in a divorce, especially when it's a non-traditional process like mine was. Prior to the divorce, my husband, mother and I were each 1/3rd owners of the property, as joint tenants. This ownership situation alone is more complex than the typical one or two party ownership transaction. Basically, our attorneys negotiated for my mother and I to buyout my ex and to do so 2-3 months ahead of finalizing everything else in the divorce. Iron Point Mortgage was familiar with my jurisdiction's laws, as well as California’s laws regarding real property and divorce. Several other firms either didn't want to work with us or expected us to conform to the way they're used to handling it, which included having a divorce decree in hand prior to moving forward on the refi. They also wanted to charge more to take it on. With rising interest rates, these aspects would've hurt my mother and I financially, when we're already going through enough. Kevin also found a way to lower the cost for me, since it wasn't a typical cash out refi. That said, we couldn't take out more than what the agreed buyout was for my ex. It worked well for me, as we didn't want our mortgage to be any higher than necessary. Additionally, each person I worked with was empathetic, they listened to my concerns and responded quickly by email or phone call. They made the process easy to understand, communicated each step of the way and provided us with all details needed to ease our concerns or to guide us through each step. I will recommend Iron Point Mortgage every chance I get. Furthermore, I will reach out to them for my future real estate transactions. PS - thank you to others who posted reviews regarding your experience with Iron Point Mortgage and your real estate transaction during divorce. They were very helpful when I was shopping around for a mortgage broker.

  Kevin Fritz and his team were great to work with. They were easy to get in touch with and kept us in the loop every step of the process. They offered great advice for multiple options for our refinance and got us a great rate. Would definitely recommend their services.
