My family and I stayed at the Blue Bayou. Cute little house, however it was not cleaned. Upon arriving the counters felt dirty and while transporting food from cooler to fridge and then when wiped the water off the floor it was disgustingly dirty. It probably hasn't been deep/cleaned dusted in atleast a year. The shower was cleaned only at basic height, there was mildew on the lower tiles. On Saturday the house next to us left in the morning a man I presume as Bill was there 20 mins, left and a knew family came around 5ish. Based on. That I can assure you cleaning between guests isn't very great.

It's always really upsetting when the first time we are hearing about a problem or concern is when it is posted in a two star public review. We work VERY hard to provide a safe clean environment for all of our guests. All of our houses are professionally cleaned, sanitized and inspected before each guest arrives (which always includes surfaces). If there was a problem or concern that merited the time and attention it takes to initiate a poor public review, we wish you would have reached out to us about it first. Unless we are aware of a concern, we are unable to fix it. We always do our absolute best to provide an exceptional guest experience and would have really appreciated the opportunity. Also, to clarify, we do not manage the house next door.
