  I had the pleasure of working with Jacque Somers of Vellum Mortgage when my mother was relocating from another area to Northern Virginia. Referred by my mother's Real Estate agent, who is also a long-time personal friend, I can truly say Jacque is amazing. She would frequently pull me into calls or call me directly so that I could help her obtain the needed documentation and monetary specifics to first determine eligibility for a loan. In the end, I ended up having to assist my mother getting this information to her as she was ill and secondarily had vision issues due to medications and was unable to drive anywhere. Since I was always working, and unable to get with Jacque face to face, she would graciously contact me on lunch or even after hours, late into the night to work with me. She would have me log into needed online accounts, which I had permission to access, and then was able to access the computer by temporarily allowing me to take over her computer with her approval, and I would sign into the accounts so she could pull the monetary information she needed and then plugged them into her databases. She was quite good-natured even when things did not go as expected initially and had to be repeated multiple times. I was certainly impressed with her laid-back, easy-going style and demeanor. Time and again, she would either call me later at night, well after hours, or answer emails well after hours sent late in the evening, that neither my mother nor I expected to be responded to until the following business morning. Jacque Somers is an exemplary professional, who is truly dedicated to not only her job, but personally invested in her clients and goes the extra mile to get things moving efficiently. Jacque is the best! If I ever need to secure a home mortgage, Jacque's the first call I will make! Thank you, Jacque for all you do for your clients.

  Jacque is seriously amazing to work with! As a first time homebuyer, the process is stressful enough, but Jacque made this painless, quick, and easy! Thank you!! Would definitely work with her again, and refer her and Vellum Mortgage to others in the future!

  Jacque and the team at Vellum Mortgage made this process SO easy. From the first telephone call to the last, no issues or problems. I really feel like they babysat me through the whole thing. I don't remember actually having to do anything. I'm quite sure I did, but it was as simple of finding and uploading documents. 5 stars really isn't enough. The mortgage process was stress free. Jacque is AWESOME!
