      Jarod and Holly are AWESOME! Every other great review out there is 100% spot on, and the VERY few poor reviews can be traced back to purchaser issues, NOT the Fairway team. Jarod and Holly were exceptionally professional, fast, friendly, responsive... I could go on with positives and not a single negative. We went to them with 45 days until our desired closing date and they made it happen with ease and efficiency. They are an in-house lender and NOT a broker. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Fairway Independent Mortgage Corp in Fairmont MN to anyone in the area looking for a GREAT Mortgage experience!

      To start Mr Matheson changed our down payment without notice or explonation, then came requests for duplicate documentations on many occasions. Even so we had 2 and a half month to secure a mortgage, Mr Matheson did not clear us to close until 9.30 PM the evening prior to closing day , there inability to furnish documents to the title company caused a back up that resulted in us having to schedual our own closing, hunt down wire instructions on our own and comence a 5 hour road trip in order to be able to close on the day schedualed . Where fairway mortgage enjoys a great national consumer rating I can only surmise that ring-master mathiason and his band of clowns are the exception that proof the rule. Add on ,to make matters worse (if possible) at the end of first month we still had not resieved a loan package or payment info ,so we had to chase it down ourselfs so first payment wouldn't be late. Incompetence

      Jarod was amazing to work with and his team was equally great! From the first phone call he asked what our budget was and worked with that, which we appreciated beyond words! We are at the final stage and can't wait to move to our forever home!
